This tour consists of cannoning on the Rio Blanco. The adventure begins with a few simple jumps before reaching the high point, the Magic Mushroom. From this point there are two abseiling descents: one over this attractive waterfall and the other over an impressive 15m high waterfall which we call Elena’s Waterfall. Then it continues with some jumps that can be done by walking around it or swimming in the river. After all this adrenaline, we enjoy a delicious lunch.

The Caribbean’s hub for windsurfing, kiteboarding, and laser sailing, Playa Cabarete -also known as “Kite Beach” on the western side- is where you can learn and practice wind water sports all year round. On weekends,especially in the summer, the sails and kites are all out on the water, which makes for dreamy photographs. There’s plenty of space for swimming and relaxing as well, facing the many restaurants, bars, shops, and lounges on the eastern side of the beach. International kitesurfing championships are hosted here during the year.

The scuba diving here in Sosúa on the beautiful North Coast of the Dominican Republic is very underrated. Sosúa Bay has great dive sites for beginners and some more challenging spots for experienced divers. All of the dive sites are between 2 – 8 mins boat ride from the beach. We have very minimal tide changes and little to no currents. Visibility can be incredible and we dive year round with water temperatures averaging 26c/80f.

Located at the Playa Dorada resort in Puerto Plata, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, it is an excellent championship course, 18 holes, par 72 and stretches approximately 6,990 yards over uneven but very versatile terrain that is sometimes difficult, shots look easy and others difficult, where water and bunkers come into play just to show off your skills.

The break for surfers is at Playa Encuentro, located between Sosúa and Cabarete, and a half-hour drive from Playa Dorada and Costa Dorada hotels. Described as a “perfect right-hand reef break,” you’ll find the area’s top surf schools right on the beach, ready to take you out into the waves. In true surfing tradition, the best time to catch waves is in the early morning.

Approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of Puerto Plata city, between Rio San Juan and Cabrera, this wide, two-kilometer-long (one mile) golden beach is known for its swells-good for surfers-and undertows in the winter, requiring extra care by not swimming too far off shore. On site, rows of local seafood shacks serve excellent lunch plates while the music echoes. Playa Grande’s perfect palm trees and golden beach landscape make it a photographer’s favorite.
